Pediatric Chiropractor in Westminster, CO
Kids carry heavy backpacks, sit for hours, fall off things and grow six inches in a year. Gentle chiropractic care keeps their spine and nervous system moving well through all of it, and when the problem is skin, gut or allergies, we can test for that too.
- About 30 minutes with the doctor, parent in the room
- Health history and what brought you in
- Posture and movement check
- A plan explained in plain language before anything starts
Gentle, Explained, Never Rushed
Chiropractic care for children uses the same principle as care for adults, the spine and nervous system control how the body moves and functions, with far lighter pressure. Your doctor reviews your child's history, explains the recommended techniques to you and to your child, and in addition to hands-on work can use specialized instruments for gentle, targeted adjustments. Nothing happens without a parent understanding it first.
Most kids find visits comfortable, and how often they come depends on what brought them in and how they respond. Growing athletes and kids recovering from a fall are on a different schedule from a child who comes in once a season for a check.
Why families bring their kids
- Sports injuries: knees, wrists, ankles, shoulders
- Falls, tumbles and playground crashes
- Posture, backpacks and screen time
- Headaches
- Growing pains and stiffness
- Sleep and general wellness checks
- Eczema, psoriasis, allergies and gut complaints (see testing below)
A Patient Story: A Teen Told Psoriasis Was for Life
One of Dr. Bundy's teenage patients came in with psoriasis on his scalp and his back. His case was tough physically and emotionally. He had been told, as most people are, that psoriasis is a lifelong condition with no real cure, just something to manage.
We started peeling back the layers. We looked at his gut health, his immune system and his food allergies, because in cases like his it is never only about the skin. His gut was not functioning as it should, his immune system was on overdrive, and he was reacting to several foods that were driving inflammation.
So we supported his digestion, removed his food triggers, worked on immune support, and he received consistent chiropractic care. It took nine to twelve months. His back cleared dramatically, his scalp is a world of difference from where it started, and he now understands how to care for his body instead of feeling trapped in a life sentence.

Newborns: Why Birth Is the First Thing We Ask About
Delivery can be a difficult trauma for a baby, and it can radically alter a newborn's nervous system. Anesthesia, induction, instrument deliveries and cesareans each leave their own mark, and the signs in the weeks that follow are ones parents recognise: inconsolable crying, feeding interruptions, arching, sleep disturbances. Gentle adjustments for babies help that nervous system settle, which is why the first question we ask about any child, at any age, is how the birth went.
A Wellness Way case: the arching twins
After a 42-week pregnancy and a cesarean for a baby in distress, both twins spent their first three months arching, crying non-stop and struggling to feed. After "delivery" adjustments and weekly spinal adjustments, the arching stopped.
Case shared by Dr. Kate Williams, DC, The Wellness Way Eden Prairie.
The Kid From the Dairy Farm
One of our Wellness Way team members grew up on a dairy farm drinking raw milk, until first grade, when the stomach aches started after every school milk break and she threw up in front of her class more than once. The doctor said milk allergy, so milk and strawberries came off the plate and a powder took their place. The foods she was reacting to quietly stayed, because nobody had the tools to find them, and she spent years thinking she was a kid with a sensitive stomach. Her advice to parents now: if your child keeps getting stomach aches, breaks out, has dark circles or is tired all the time, do not wait for the throwing-up-in-class moment. The fingerprick kit screens 110 common IgG reactions at home; the blood-draw panel adds eight of the most common IgEs.
When the Problem Is Not the Spine
A lot of children come to us for something a chiropractor is not supposed to fix: eczema, constant colds, stomach aches, food reactions, trouble focusing. We do not guess at those. We test.
Food allergy & sensitivity
The fingerprick version of the Immuno BloodPrint is collected at home, no lab visit, and shows which everyday foods are driving inflammation. Food testing
Gut & stool testing
Digestion, bacteria, pathogens and parasites from one at-home kit. Common for kids with skin, allergy or digestive complaints. Gut testing
Whole-family care
Parents often test alongside their kids. Remote options mean the whole household can be seen without a wall of appointments.

Questions People Ask Us
At what age can a child see a chiropractor?
We see children of all ages, with care adapted to size and stage. Tell us your child's age when you book and the doctor will plan the visit accordingly.
Does it hurt?
Most children find it comfortable. Pressure is far lighter than for adults, and instrument-assisted adjustments are available where that is gentler.
Will you take X-rays of my child?
Only when they apply, and the doctor will explain why before any imaging.
Can you help with eczema or allergies?
Not with adjustments alone. Those cases get food and gut testing, and the results shape a plan the whole family can follow. The teen psoriasis story above is the typical path.
Do I stay in the room?
Yes, always.
